Terry Cooper

Terry Cooper became the Lead Minister at Ninevah in May of 2000. He was the former Vice President of Hitachi Automotive Products and lay minister for ten years before leaving the business world and going into full time ministry at Ninevah.


Terry and his wife Janet have three children, Chad, Audrey and Michael. He enjoys fishing, outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Associate Minister/Preaching Minister

WIll Cooper

Will Cooper joined the NCC staff in 2010. He is a 2006 graduate of Johnson Bible College and spent four years as the Senior Minister at the Campton Christian Church in Eastern Kentucky before coming to NCC.


Will enjoys spending time at Camp Calvary in Mackville, KY, where he grew up, and where he has served as a camp dean for the past fifteen years. He also enjoys watching sports, hunting, music, and spending time with his friends and family. Will and his wife Emi were married on September 6, 2014 and welcomed their daughter Cana, on July 13, 2017.

Music and Media Minister/ Preaching  Minister

Chad Cooper

Chad Cooper is Music & Media Minister at Ninevah. He has been on staff at Ninevah since 2003. He loves music. He received a degree in theology and religion at Liberty University.


In his spare time Chad loves to hunt, and fish, enjoys riding his motorcycle and playing guitar. He is married to Lauren and they have two sons, Case and Colt and a daughter, Remi.

Children's Minister

Kris Wackowski

Kris joined the NCC staff in March, 2020, as Children's Ministry Assistant. Kris has attended Ninevah since 2011. Kris and his wife Kristi, have one daughter, Karsyn.


Kris served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He was deployed in Iraq and anti-piracy operations off the horn of Africa. He has also served the past four years on the Eastern Kentucky mission team with  NCC and the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP). Kris enjoys shooting, mowing and front porch sitting.

Discipleship Minister

Scott Shepherd

Scott joined the NCC staff in July of 2020. Scott and his wife Heather have been members of Ninevah Christian Church since March of 2014. They have two children Brittney and Brandyn. Scott is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and a retired FAA air traffic controller with more than 27 years of service. Scott oversees the nearly 70 small groups at Ninevah. These groups include Bible studies, Fellowship Groups, Wednesday night Roots studies, Life Groups, and Discipleship groups. Scott is the Ministry Lead for the Celebrate Recovery ministry at NCC. Scott also oversees the Men's and Women's ministry. Scott has a passion for teaching the Word of God and serving others. You can find him teaching a small group class on Wednesday nights during our Spring and Fall Roots semesters. Scott and Heather also enjoy camping with the NCC RV Group and spending time with their Life Group. Scott and Heather also enjoy spending as much time as possible with their two grandchildren, Magnolia and Nicholas.

Minister of Outreach

Chris Harrod



Chris started with NCC full time in January 2023.  Chris and his wife Missy have been members since 2007.  They have three children Dillon, Seth, and Caty.  Chris retired from the Lexington Fire Department and the Anderson County Fire Department with more than 27 years of service.  He also retired from the Kentucky Army National Guard and deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in 2006.  In his spare time, he enjoys working on his farm and raising cattle.  Chris enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren Wesson and Hattie.

Student Minister

Josh Smith

Josh joined the NCC staff in June of 2019 as the Student Ministry Assistant and in 2022 moved to Full Time. Josh went to  Campbellsville University where he got a degree in Christian Studies. Josh has been active in the youth group at Ninevah for many years and has served as a volunteer leader since graduating High school. 


Josh also enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, hunting, fishing, and long emotional walks on the beach.

Administrative Assistant

Suzette Gash Cox

Suzette joined the NCC staff as our Administrative Assistant in February of 2019. She has been attending Ninevah since 2012. Suzette also serves on the NCC Welcome Team and Audio/Video Team. 


Suzette enjoys sewing and embroidering and spending time with children and grandchildren.

Student Ministry Assistant

Joey Puckett

Joey joined the NCC staff as the Student Ministry Assistant in January of 2017. Joey has served as a Youth Leader for the past four years at Ninevah and has also enjoyed coaching the Ninevah Boys Basketball team. Joey is also employed as a supervisor by the KY Department of Transportation.


Joey and his wife Kelley were married on May 24, 2003 and have three daughters; Kamryn, Chayse, and Mayci. In his spare time he enjoys golf, basketball, and spending time with family.

Children's Ministry Assistant

Shea Harvey

Shea joined NCC staff in August of 2022 as Children's Ministry Assistant. Shea and her family have been attending Ninevah since 2013.


Shea and her husband, Deon, were married February 5, 2011 and together they have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. Shea is also a self-employed hairdresser with her own in-home salon.


Shea enjoys taxiing her children around, being their number 1 spectator at extracurricular events, and over all  just spending time with her family.

Robyn Wilcox

Attended Ninevah since May 2009. Robyn and her husband Anthony "Flash" have 3 boys Bridger, River and Brier. She has been homeschooling the boys for the last 9 years and has volunteered with young children at NCC for many years.


Robyn enjoys spending time with her family and crafting.

Lisa Burton


Lisa and her family have been worshipping at NCC for over 20 years and has served as a volunteer in multiple NCC ministries during that time. Lisa was brought on staff as a Children’s Ministry Assistant in January 2021. Lisa comes to NCC with great experience working with young people and has been on staff and working with children at the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg for 20 years.


Lisa has 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law. Lisa loves to garden, kayak and spend time with her family.
