New World Order

The Bible is quite clear about the future. A New World Order is coming. It will begin with a manmade New World Order that will fail, bringing much death and misery on the earth.

This soon approaching New World Order will be ruled by a beast, a man who will be inhabited by the spirit of Satan. This New World Order will bring a period of great destruction and tribulation to the whole earth…and he was given authority to rule over every tribe, people and language and nation.

Revelation 13:5-8 (NLT)

Then the beast was allowed to speak great blasphemies against God. And he was given authority to do whatever he wanted for forty-two months.

6 And he spoke terrible words of blasphemy against God, slandering his name and his temple—that is, those who live in heaven.

7 And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation. 8 And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made—the Book that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered.

I don’t want to focus on this temporary and deadly New World Order kingdom of antichrist today. The New World Oder that I’m referring to today is an eternal kingdom that will not be ruled by antichrist (a spirit power from heaven) or any group of men who find their origins on this earth.

The New Testament Book of Hebrews makes it clear that, “it is not angels who will control the future world.” If not angels, who? If not men, who find their origins on earth, who? Who will control this future world? Who will be in charge of this New World Order?

Hebrews 2:5-8 (NLT)

And furthermore, it is not angels who will control the future world we are talking about. 6 For in one place the Scriptures say, “What are people that you should think of them, or a son of man that you should care for him?

7 Yet you made them only a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. 8 You gave them authority over all things.” Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority.

Yes, it’s true. God made the first man Adam in His own likeness, and God created man a little lower than the angels…and then crowned them with glory and dominion over the created earth. Yes, it’s true. God gave Adam and the sons of Adam authority over all created things of earth.

Genesis 1:28 (NLT)

Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

There it is…Reign over the earth. Govern the earth. This was the New World Order at the beginning of creation. There was man (Adam and Eve) and there were angels in the beginning. What happened? We don’t presently see all things under man’s authority. There are still demonic influences and evil rulers from the unseen world at work on earth in our time. These demonic powers are not presently under our authority and control. The Apostle Paul makes it clear that there are heavenly powers operating on the earth outside and beyond the authority of men today.

Ephesians 6:12 (NLT)

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

What happened and what are we waiting for… But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority. What are we waiting for today? Who are we waiting for today? Who will make it possible for man to reign on the earth without being attacked by the evil spirits from the unseen world?

Hebrews 2:8-9 (NLT)

You gave them authority over all things.” Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority. 9 What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.

Jesus’ origin is heaven, not earth. Jesus became a man. God became a man. Jesus became the second and last Adam. Can you see a New World Order yet? There is One that is fully man and fully God inside the same person. He is the One that will bring a New World Order to earth. He is the One that will defeat the antichrist and false prophet, casting them into hell. Jesus will then cast Satan into the Abyss Prison for a thousand years.

Do you know what happens after that? Do you know about the New World Order after that?

Revelation 11:15 (NLT)

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”

And how do we become a part of this New World Order of Jesus Christ? How do we make our calling and election sure? Faith and Endurance. This is what the church needs now more than ever…faith and endurance. We find salvation and our place in this eternal kingdom by placing our faith in Jesus as Savior and King. We are spiritually transferred from the kingdom of darkness and death into the eternal Kingdom of Christ.

Colossians 1:11-14 (NLT)

11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, 12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. 13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.
