Love & Marriage

Many people search for a spouse to complete them, but this places an impossible burden on human relationships. True love flows from God first, then transfers to others. You will never truly love your spouse as you should until you love God as you should. Marriage is God's design between one man and one woman, built on the foundation of Christ. When both partners love Christ first, they can love each other sacrificially as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13. Modern culture has moved away from God's design, leading to higher divorce rates and broken relationships. The proper foundation for marriage must be spiritual compatibility first, followed by social, personal, emotional, and finally physical intimacy within the covenant of marriage.
