What about Death, Part 2

What happens after a believer dies is one of the most important questions a person can wrestle with, and the Bible gives a clear and glorious answer. When a believer takes their last breath, their spirit immediately enters the presence of Jesus. There is no soul sleep, no darkness, no waiting in uncertainty. At the resurrection, the souls of believers return with Christ, their bodies are raised and glorified, and those still living are transformed in an instant. Believers will then stand before Christ to be evaluated for their works, celebrate the Wedding Supper of the Lamb, and return with Him to reign on the earth. Eternity is not a distant, vague hope. It is a specific, breathtaking future that should change the way we live today.
